Mace is the
scarlet lacy covering which surrounds the hard black shell containing the
nutmeg. It has an aromatic, sweet, warm and rich flavour. Use
sparingly.

Usage
- Add Mace to cooked spinach, carrots and mushrooms.
- Mace adds a mellow flavour to Bolognese sauce and other Italian dishes.
- Mace is excellent in dishes made with milk and cheese, such as
rice pudding, béchamel sauce and whipped cream.
