Mediterranean Sea Salt
Mediterranean Sea Salt is harvested from naturally
dried sea water and has a larger crystal size and slightly stronger
flavour than ordinary table salt. Use as a 'finishing' salt by sprinkling
over food just before serving or use in cooking and baking. For best
results grind in a Schwartz Mill.To refill simply twist the cap off the
grinder and refill.
For tasty roast potatoes, coat par-boiled potatoes in olive oil
and sprinkle over some Sea Salt. Then roast as usual. Also great
sprinkled over cooked chips and potato skins for extra flavour.
Rub the skin of pork joints with Sea Salt before roasting to give
a delicious crispy crackling. Also ideal on roast chicken to crisp up
the skin during cooking.
For crispy topped garlic bread, brush slices of French bread with
melted butter mixed with garlic and sprinkle with Sea Salt before
