An Italian dish with a delicate creamy tomato sauce
mix with herbs. Simply combine the tuna and pasta with the sauce and enjoy
a delicious meal.
Usage
TUNA NAPOLITANA
1 packet Schwartz Tuna Napolitana Recipe Mix
450ml (¾ pint) milk
3 tbs tomato purée
25g (1oz) butter
185g tin tuna, drained and flaked
275g (10oz) pasta, cooked and drained
1. Blend the packet contents with the milk in a saucepan.
2. Add the tomato purée and butter and bring to the boil,
stirring.
3. Stir the tuna into the sauce and heat through. Add the pasta and
mix thoroughly before serving.
4. Serve with a tomato and red onion salad.Add freshly chopped tomatoes with the tuna or replace the
tuna with cooked diced chicken or cooked peeled prawns.
Try topping with
grated Cheddar cheese and grill until golden.
