A tasty Cheddar cheese sauce mix. Ideal with
vegetables, pasta and chicken. Simply add milk and butter.
Usage
CHEDDAR CHEESE SAUCE
1 packet Schwartz Cheddar Cheese Sauce Mix
300ml (½ pint) milk
25g (1oz) butter (optional)
1. Empty the packet contents into a small saucepan.
2. Blend in the milk and bring to the boil, stirring
continuously.
3. Add the butter and simmer for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has
thickened.
4. Great served over broccoli and cauliflower. For a
delicious potato gratin, pour the prepared sauce over sliced cooked
potatoes and ham, top with grated cheese and breadcrumbs and bake until
golden.
