A creamy lemon and butter sauce mix. Delicious with salmon, cod and haddock.

Usage

1 packet Schwartz for Fish Lemon Butter Sauce

450ml (¾ pint) milk 

25g (1oz) butter

1. Empty the packet contents into a small saucepan.

2. Blend in the milk and bring to the boil, stirring continuously.

3. Add the butter and simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened.

4. Serve immediately over fish.

INSPIRATIONAL IDEAS:

Cook 250g (9oz) tagliatelle in salted water and drain. Meanwhile, fry 250g (9oz) sliced leeks in 25g (1oz) butter. Remove from the pan. Fry 350g (12oz) cubed salmon for 4-5 minutes, until cooked. Cook Schwartz Lemon Butter Sauce Mix as above, but using 600ml (1 pint) milk. Stir the leeks, salmon and sauce into the cooked tagliatelle. Season to taste.
