A creamy parsley and chive sauce mix. Delicious with
salmon, cod and smoked haddock.
Usage
1 packet Schwartz for Fish Parsley and Chive Sauce
450ml (3/4 pint) milk
25g (1oz) butter
1. Empty the packet contents into a small saucepan.
2. Blend in the milk and bring to the boil, stirring
continuously.
3. Add the butter and simmer for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has
thickened.
4. Serve immediately over fish.
INSPIRATIONAL
IDEAS:
Blend Schwartz Parsley &
Chive Sauce Mix with the milk in a large saucepan. Add 350g (12oz) cod
fillets. Bring to the boil, stirring gently. Simmer for 5 minutes, until
sauce has thickened. Add 100g (4oz) cooked prawns and 125g (5oz) frozen
peas or spinach. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Transfer to a heatproof
dish and top with 450g (1lb) mashed potato and place under a pre-heated
grill until golden.
