Ginger & Nutmeg Spiced Porridge recipe

Ingredients

Tasty porridge to warm you up on those chilly mornings, deliciously spiced with Ginger and Nutmeg, served with dried cherries and drizzled with honey.

Method

Step 1

Mix the porridge oats, milk, Ginger and Nutmeg in a saucepan and place over a medium-heat. Bring to the boil and simmer for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until thickened.

Step 2

Stir in the cherries and drizzle with the honey.

Step 3

Serve immediately.

Cook's Notes

Why not try with different dried fruits to add variety - dried apricots, cranberries and blueberries are great in this porridge.
