Chinese 5 Spice Noodles recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs toasted sesame oil
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • 5 spring onions, diagonally sliced
  • 100 g (4 oz) chestnut mushrooms, finely sliced
  • 350 g (12 oz) large raw prawns, peeled
  • 225 g (8 oz) fine egg thread noodles, cooked and drained
  • 4 tbs light soy sauce
  • 2 tbs Schwartz Easy Stir Fry Chinese 5 Spice, Ginger & Garlic

Delicious noodles, chestnut mushrooms, prawns and spring onions stir fried with soy sauce and Chinese 5 Spice, Ginger and Garlic Stir Fry Blend for a quick and easy mid-week meal packed full of flavour.

Method

Step 1

Heat the oil in the wok and add the onion. Stir fry for 2 minutes. Toss in most of the spring onions, all of the chestnut mushrooms and the prawns. Add a splash of water to the wok and stir fry for 2 minutes.

Step 2

Add the cooked and drained noodles and toss the ingredients over a high heat for 3 minutes, until the prawns are piping hot and cooked through. Stir in the soy sauce and Chinese 5 Spice, Ginger and Garlic Stir Fry Blend. Toss well and serve garnished with the reserved spring onions.
