Provencale Mushrooms
- 25g (1oz) butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Schwartz Garlic Granules
- 50ml (2fl oz) white wine
- 1 tsp Schwartz Mixed Herbs
- 225g (8oz) button mushrooms
- 200g (7oz) tin chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbs tomato purée
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
STEP 1Melt the butter in a pan and fry the onion and Garlic Granules. Add the wine and Mixed Herbs and reduce by half. Stir in the mushrooms and fry for 1 minute.
STEP 2Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 10 minutes.
STEP 3Serve hot or cold with French bread.
