Provencale Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 25g (1oz) butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Schwartz Garlic Granules
  • 50ml (2fl oz) white wine
  • 1 tsp Schwartz Mixed Herbs
  • 225g (8oz) button mushrooms
  • 200g (7oz) tin chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbs tomato purée
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce

Method

STEP 1Melt the butter in a pan and fry the onion and Garlic Granules. Add the wine and Mixed Herbs and reduce by half. Stir in the mushrooms and fry for 1 minute.

STEP 2Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 10 minutes.

STEP 3Serve hot or cold with French bread.
