Information We Collect. You don't need to provide any personal information to access our Sites. However, McCormick provides you with the opportunity to enhance your visit to our Sites, by providing personal information to us for use for certain features, such as to register to receive e-mail newsletters on Schwartz products, recipes and special offers that may be of interest to you, to enter competitions, to send us questions or comments, or to register for membership of Flavour by Design (www.schwartzforchef.co.uk only). The personal information we collect may include name, e-mail address, cooking level and food interests, or other contact or demographic information If you choose to purchase products or merchandise through the Sites, a third party vendor will collect payment and shipping information and process your order.

How We Use Your Personal Information. We may use the information you provide on the Sites to send you periodic e-mail updates about our company, send you newsletters and recipes or to notify you of special offers and promotions or for other purposes indicated at the time you voluntarily provide us with any personal information. You may opt out of receiving these communications at any time by clicking on the opt-out link located in each e-mail we send.

If you sign up to test products or participate in surveys or contests on our website, then we will use your contact information to send you information regarding such products, surveys or contests.

Retention of Personal Information. We will hold your personal information only for as long as it is necessary for us to do so, having regard to the purpose for which your information was obtained as described in this Privacy Policy.

Security: The Sites employ appropriate security measures which are designed to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of any personal information. Only authorised McCormick personnel have access to your personal information, and these personnel are required to treat the information as confidential. The security measures we have in place will be reviewed from time to time in line with legal and technical developments.

Note to Parents: We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Children under the age of 18 should not intentionally submit information on the Sites without their parent's or guardian's permission. Parents may always ask to review any personal information we have collected from their children. You may have information related to your child deleted from the database and refuse to permit further collection or use of children's information.
