Description
A creamy sauce mix with white wine and herbs. Ideal with chicken, fish, vegetables and pasta. Simply add milk and butter.
Usage ideas
CREAMY WHITE WINE SAUCE WITH HERBS
1 packet Schwartz Creamy White Wine Sauce with Herbs Mix
300ml (½ pint) milk
25g (1oz) butter (optional)
1. Empty the packet contents into a small saucepan.
2. Blend in the milk and bring to the boil, stirring continuously.
3. Add the butter and simmer for 1-2 minutes, until sauce has thickened.
 
An ideal accompaniment to poached salmon or plaice fillets.
For a tasty vegetable accompaniment, stir drained, cooked leeks into the prepared sauce. Top with grated cheese and grill until golden.
