Usage Tips
For OUR RECIPE you will need …
1 sachet Schwartz Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe Mix
Just Add:
- 450g extra lean beef mince
- 1 onion, diced
- 100g mushrooms, sliced
- 400g tin chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbs tomato purée
- 125ml cold water
- 275g spaghetti, cooked and drained
3 Easy Steps...
1 Brown mince and onion for 5 mins. Stir in mushrooms and fry for 2 mins, until browned. Drain excess liquid.
2 Mix in seasoning, tomatoes, tomato purée and water. Bring to the boil.
3 Cover and simmer for 15 mins, stirring occasionally. Stir in spaghetti and heat through.
Try Something Different: Delicious topped with Parmesan cheese.
For a meat free alternative replace the mince with tinned lentils and grated carrot. Mix softened butter with Schwartz Garlic Granules and Mixed Herbs and spread over baguettes before baking for delicious garlic bread.
Freezing Guidelines
This finished recipe is suitable for freezing. Transfer the cooked recipe to an airtight container, leave to cool prior to sealing. For best results use within 1 month of freezing.
Re-heating Guidelines
Defrost thoroughly overnight in a refrigerator. Transfer to a saucepan and heat gently over a medium-heat, stirring occasionally, until piping hot throughout. Alternatively, place in a microwaveable bowl, cover loosely with cling film and re-heat in the microwave (800W) on full power for 8 minutes, stirring half-way through, or until piping hot throughout.
