Classic Chilli con Carne
450 gram (1 pound) minced beef
1 onion, chopped
2 teaspoon Chilli Cooking Paste
400 gram (14 ounce) tin chopped tomatoes
425 gram (15 ounce) tin kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 tablespoons tomato purée
1 beef stock cube
150 mililiter (1/4 pint) water
Fry the onion, beef and Chillies in a large saucepan until browned.
Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to the boil, stirring. Simmer gently for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
