Chinese Flavour Shot Chicken

A rich and sticky Chinese-style marinade for chicken.

  • Pre-heat the oven to 220?C, 425?F, Gas Mark 7.

  • Combine the Flavour Shot, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and tomato ketchup in a bowl.

  • Add the chicken to the sauce and mix well. Cover and leave to marinate for 30 minutes, or for best results overnight in the refrigerator. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cooking.

  • Transfer to a roasting tray and cook for 45-50 minutes, or until chicken is piping hot and cooked through.
