  • Heat the oil in a small saucepan, add the Spices and cook gently for a few seconds. Stir in the remaining ingredients, bring to the boil and simmer gently, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until thick and pulpy.

  • Serve this Indian chutney simply with naan bread and popodoms, either hot or cold.
