Schwartz Gingerbread Lane 2026

Prize draw terms

Key points

• Free prize draw. No purchase necessary.
• Open to UK residents aged 18 or over who live in one of the seven home types listed in section 2.
• Enter by commenting on our Instagram post and tagging someone, between 18:00 on 2 November 2026 and 23:59 on 8 November 2026.
• One winner, chosen at random, receives a £250 Tesco digital voucher and the opportunity for their home to be used as the basis for a house in our Gingerbread Lane model.
• To claim the prize, the winner must send us a photo of the front of their home and a photo of themselves. We will use them in the campaign as explained in sections 7 to 9.

1. Who runs the draw

The promoter is McCormick (UK) Limited, trading as Schwartz, Haddenham Business Park, Pegasus Way, Haddenham, Aylesbury HP17 8LB ('we', 'us').
Pangolin PR Limited helps us run the draw. Questions: schwartz.enquiries@mccormick.co.uk. By entering, you accept these terms.

2. Who can enter

You can enter if:

(a) you live in the UK and are aged 18 or over; and

(b) you live in one of these types of home (you don't need to own it):
- detached house;
- semi-detached house;
- terraced house;
- end-of-terrace house;
- bungalow;
- flat within a block of flats; or
- studio flat.

Your home must also:

(c) be in a building no more than three storeys high from the ground up, counting any loft or roof rooms;
and

(d) have no detached outbuildings visible from the front.

If you live in a flat or studio, we may recreate all or part of the building.

You cannot enter if you, or anyone in your household:
- work for us, Pangolin PR or any agency or supplier involved in this draw;
- are a content creator or influencer working on this campaign; or
- are working with Michelle Wibowo on this campaign or are related to her.

We may ask for reasonable proof of your age, address and home type.

3. How to enter

Between 18:00 on 2 November 2026 and 23:59 on 8 November 2026 (UK time), comment on our prize draw post on the Schwartz UK Instagram account (@schwartz.uk). The post was published on 1 November 2026 and is a single image featuring Schwartz Gingerbread Mix. In your comment, tag another Instagram account. Entries outside these times don't count.

When tagging:
- only tag an adult you know personally;
- don’t tag strangers, public figures, business accounts, fake accounts or yourself; and
- don’t tag anyone who has asked you not to.

Being tagged doesn’t enter that person into the draw or sign them up to marketing.

Each comment counts as one entry, and you can enter more than once. Don't use automated or bulk comments or more than one account. Keep your comment visible until the draw has taken place.

You don’t need to buy, follow, like or share anything. Please don’t post your address or a photo of your home publicly.

4. The prize

There is one winner. They receive:

(a) A £250 Tesco digital voucher. We will email it within 30 days of confirming the winner, and no later than 6 December 2026. It is valid for 12 months and subject to Tesco's terms at
https://www.tescogiftcards.com/terms_conditions. It can't be exchanged for cash or transferred. If something outside our control means we have to substitute it, we will provide a voucher of equal or
greater value.

(b) The opportunity for their home to be used as the basis for a house in the Schwartz Gingerbread Lane model, created for this campaign by food artist Michelle Wibowo.

About the model:

- It is an artistic interpretation, not an exact copy. We will change or leave out features to protect your privacy.

- We own the model and all photos and footage of it. You won't receive the model or any payment.

- If privacy or production reasons mean we can't feature your home, we may use a generic house instead.
You keep the voucher either way.

5. How the winner is chosen

On 9 November 2026, we will pick one winner at random from all valid entries. We will use a computer process verified as random, or an independent person will supervise the draw. There is no judging and no shortlist.

We will message the winner on Instagram from @schwartz.uk by 10th November 2026. We will only contact you from this account, and we will never ask for payment or bank details.

To claim the prize, the winner must:
(a) reply to our message within 48 hours;
(b) within the same 48 hours, email a photo of the front of their home to schwartz@pangolinpr.com (see section 6);
(c) send a photo of themselves to the same address by 13th November 2026 (see section 8); and
(d) confirm they agree to the uses of both photos described in sections 7 to 9.

If the winner doesn't qualify, doesn't respond in time or doesn't agree, we will draw another winner at random in the same way. If health or accessibility reasons make any step difficult, let us know and we will agree a reasonable alternative.

6. The photo of your home

The photo must clearly show the shape of your home, its roofline, windows and front door, with enough
of the building to check that it qualifies. Don't crop or edit it to hide the building's height or any
outbuildings. Where you can, avoid including people, children and car number plates. Take it safely, from
a public place or somewhere you have permission to be.
We don’t need photos of the inside of your home, and we won’t visit. We don’t judge the quality of the
photo, only whether it’s clear enough.

7. How we use the photo of your home

You keep the copyright in your photo. When you send it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it only for the Schwartz Gingerbread Lane 2026 campaign, to:
(a) check your home qualifies;
(b) design and build the gingerbread model;
(c) edit it to remove location details (see section 9); and
(d) publish the edited version, and images and footage of the model, on Schwartz UK's Instagram account, the Schwartz website and in press materials. Online content may be seen outside the UK.

We may use the photo on an ongoing basis in content about this campaign, such as look-back posts and case studies. After the campaign has ended, we won't make any new use of it.

Posts already published may stay where they are, but we won't repost or promote them. We can't control coverage published independently by others, such as the media.

We will not:
- use your photo, or anything based on it, for any other campaign, product or purpose;
- publish the original, unedited photo; or
- sell or license it to anyone else.

We will share the original only with Pangolin PR, Michelle Wibowo and the suppliers who need it to build the model. We will delete the original within 6 months of the model being completed.

Any other use needs your separate agreement. You can say no without affecting your prize.

8. Your winner photo

The winner must provide one photo of themselves. It should show only the winner: no other household members or children. We will use it to announce the winner and in content about the campaign, on the channels and for the period set out in section 7.

Only your first name will be shown with it. We will not publish your address or any location details.

9. Protecting your privacy

Before we publish anything, we will remove house numbers or names, street signs, postcodes, other location clues and distinctive features from the images of your home, the model, and photos and footage of the model. We will never publish your address or exact location.

Your winner photo may appear alongside the gingerbread model. We may also show a photo of your real home if you consent.

We can't guarantee that no one will ever recognise a home. If we can't remove enough identifying detail, we won't use the image, or we will use a generic house instead. You keep your prize either way.

10. Your personal information

McCormick (UK) Limited is responsible for your personal information. Contact:
schwartz.enquiries@mccormick.co.uk.

What we collect: your Instagram handle and comments, contact details, proof of eligibility, and (for the
winner) the photo of their home and the winner photo.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis:
- to run the draw, check eligibility, contact the winner and deliver the prize, because it is necessary to carry out these terms;
- to build the model and promote the campaign using the photos, based on our legitimate interests. We've checked that this is fair to you and limited to what's needed, so we're not asking for your consent;
and
- to meet legal and regulatory requirements, such as a request from the Advertising Standards Authority.

Who we share it with: Pangolin PR, Michelle Wibowo and suppliers who need it to run the draw or build the model, and regulators or others where the law requires. Instagram handles public comments under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it:
- entrants' details: deleted within 6 months after the draw;
- the winner's details and photos: for the licence period in section 7; and
- the original photo of the winner's home: deleted within 6 months of the model being completed.

Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. To object to our use of your photos, email us. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue, for example where material has already been printed, published or booked into media. Objecting doesn't affect your prize. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

11. Announcing the winner

If the winner agrees, we will announce them on Instagram. Under advertising rules, we must also make the winner’s surname and county available on request. They are available by emailing schwartz.enquiries@mccormick.co.uk for one month after the winner is announced. The winner can object to this or ask us to limit what we share, and this won't affect their prize. We will never link this information to images of their home. We may share the winner's details with the Advertising Standards Authority if it asks.

12. Other important terms

- We may reject entries where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, automation, abusive content or a breach of these terms.

- We will only change, suspend or cancel the draw if something outside our reasonable control makes it necessary. If we do, we will tell you promptly and try to make sure entrants are not disadvantaged.

- We are not responsible for things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. Your statutory rights are not affected.

- Instagram does not sponsor, endorse or run this draw. To the extent the law allows, you release Instagram from any liability connected with it.

- Tesco is not involved in running this draw.

- These terms are governed by English law applies. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts
