1 sachet Schwartz Creamy Garlic Mushrooms Recipe Mix
1 tbs oil
1 onion, diced
450g (1lb) mushrooms, sliced
350ml (12fl oz) semi-skimmed milk
1. Heat oil and fry onion for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
2. Add mushrooms and fry for a further 3-4 minutes. Mix sachet contents with milk and stir into pan. Bring to the boil, stirring.
3. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve with crusty bread.
Hints & Tips ...
Delicious with white mushrooms or chestnut mushrooms. Try stirring in cooked pasta and topping with grated cheese before baking in the oven.
Microwave directions for 800W: Place oil, onions and mushrooms in a microwavable dish, cover and cook on full power for 4 minutes. Stir half-way through. Mix sachet contents with milk and add to the mushrooms. Stir well, cover and cook on full power for 8 minutes. Stir half-way through. Leave to stand for 2 minutes.
