Bacon Tagliatelle with Mushrooms

This quick and easy recipe uses store cupboard ingredients to create a tasty pasta dish with bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes.

  • Heat oil and fry bacon for 1-2 minutes. Drain excess liquid.

  • Add mushrooms and fry for a further 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes, sachet contents, water and tomato purée. Bring to the boil, stirring.

  • Simmer for 5 minutes and then combine the sauce with the tagliatelle.

  • Serve with a crisp green salad and garlic bread.
