Pan-fried mushrooms in a rich and creamy wine, garlic and parsley sauce. Delicious with crusty bread for a starter or light lunch or a great accompaniment to meat or chicken.
  • 1 tablespoons oil

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 450 gram (1 pound) mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 sachet Garlic Mushroom Starter

  • 350 millilitre (12 fluid ounce) milk


  • 1 Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion, until softened.
  • 2 Add the mushrooms and fry for 3-4 minutes. Blend the sachet contents with the milk and add to the pan, bring to the boil, stirring.
  • 3 Simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Great served with crusty bread.
