1 sachet Schwartz Balti Recipe Mix
1 tbs oil
1 onion, finely diced
450g (1lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
2 tbs tomato purée
400g tin chopped tomatoes
1 green pepper, diced
1. Heat oil and fry onion for 5 minutes, until softened.
2. Add chicken and sachet contents, stir and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. Add tomato purée and cook for 1 minute. Stir in chopped tomatoes and pepper, bring to the boil.
3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve with naan bread and basmati rice.
Why not try with raw King prawns instead of chicken. Stir in 5 minutes before the end of cooking, simmer gently until prawns have turned pink and are cooked through.
