Mouth-watering burgers flavoured with a Piri Piri Herb & Spice Blend combining Crushed Chillies, Garlic, orange, lemon, Paprika and Coriander Seed. Grilled to perfection and served in rustic rolls with a refreshing pineapple relish. Great served with seasoned vegetable chips to complete the meal.
Place the mince in a large bowl, add ½ the spring onions, the egg yolk, 2½ tbs Perfect Shake Piri Piri Herb & Spice Blend and the lemon zest. Combine the ingredients together with your hands and form into 4 burgers. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until ready to cook.
Meanwhile, to make the salsa, mix together the pineapple, red pepper, remaining Perfect Shake Piri Piri Herb & Spice Blend, remaining spring onions, lemon juice and olive oil.
Pre-heat the grill (or barbecue) to a medium-heat and cook the burgers for 8-10 minutes, turn and cook for a further 8-10 minutes. Ensure the burgers are piping hot and cooked throughout before serving.
Serve the burgers in rolls with rocket leaves and topped with the pineapple salsa. Delicious served with seasoned vegetable chips.
