  • 175 gram (6 ounce) long grain rice

  • 1 teaspoon Pilau Rice Seasoning

  • 1 large orange, peeled and segmented

  • 50 gram (2 ounce) raisins

  • 225 gram (8 ounce) tin pineapple pieces, drained

  • 40 gram (1 1/2 ounce) flaked almonds, toasted

  • 1 red eating apple, cored and chopped

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • 2 teaspoon clear honey

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger

Instructions

  • 1 Cook the rice in boiling water with the Pilau Rice Seasoning until tender. Drain and allow to cool.
  • 2 Stir in the orange, raisins, pineapple, almonds and apple.
  • 3 Blend the oil with the honey, lemon juice and Ginger and pour over the salad. Chill before serving.
