Spicy Bacon and Mushroom Pasta
Ingredients
100 gram (4 ounce) cream cheese
150 millilitre (1/4 pint) milk
2 tomatoes, skinned and chopped
1 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoons Dried Basil
Pasta to serve
1 tablespoons oil
75 gram (3 ounce) smoked bacon, chopped
100 gram (4 ounce) button mushrooms, halved
1 small onion, sliced
4 teaspoon Piri Piri Seasoning
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the bacon, mushrooms and onions. Sprinkle on the Piri Piri Seasoning then blend in the cream cheese and milk.
- 2 Simmer for 5-10 minutes until thickened and then stir in the chopped tomatoes.
- 3 Serve on a bed of pasta, topped with Parmesan and Basil.
