Handy tips for using
your slow cooker!
- 1. Perfect for tougher cuts of meat such as blade steak, shoulder and leg meat, which are often cheaper, but have great flavour.
- 2. Do not fill the slow cooker too full, or lift the lid during cooking. This prevents a vacuum from forming which will increase cooking time.
- 3. Browning meat before placing in the slow cooker adds to the finished flavour and colour of the dish.
