Place butter and sugar in a medium saucepan on medium heat. Cook and stir until mixture turns a deep yellow color. In a separate saucepan gently heat the cream and Vanilla Pod for 2 minutes.
Carefully stir the cream and Vanilla into the butter and sugar mixture. Whisking constantly, cook until sauce thickens and coats back of spoon. Serve.
