Terms and Conditions

 

 

Schwartz x PizzaExpress Valentine’s Day Campaign 1st February 2025 – 14th February 2025

  • 1. Acceptance: By entering this competition as per clause 2 below, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. McCormick (UK) Limited under the licensed brand name of Schwartz ( “the Promoter”) reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove and disqualify any entry that does not adhere to these terms and conditions.

    2. Entry: (a) Entries can only be made via Instagram or Facebook;  (b) How to enter on Instagram: Follow @schwartzuk and @PizzaExpress on Instagram, like the post, comment with your dream date and tag who you’d go with; (c) How to enter on Facebook: Follow @schwartz and @PizzaExpress on Facebook, like the post, comment with your dream date and tag who you’d go with. One entry per person will be entered into the draw. 

     

    3. Eligibility: Only those residents in the UK who are aged 18 or over are eligible to enter but not any employees of the Promoter or employees of anyone professionally associated with this competition, any agent of the Promoter administering the competition, and any other agent or representative). The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entrants’ eligibility. 

     

    4. Pre-conditions to Enter: No entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. Internet access and Instagram or Facebook account required. Entrants don’t require both accounts to be eligible. 

     

    5. Prize: 14 £100 PizzaExpress voucher valid for 24 months from the date of issue. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. Promoters may substitute a similar prize of equivalent amount (£100). 

     

    6. Competition Period: The competition will open at 12pm (GMT) on 1st February 2025 and will close at 12pm (GMT) on 14th February 2025. No entries received after this time will be considered. The Promoter may withdraw or end this competition early where necessary if circumstances arise that are beyond its control. 

     

    7. Winner selection: There will be 14 winners in total. 1 winner will be randomly selected each day from 1st-14th February 2025 from all valid entries received. 

     

    8. Claiming prize: The winner will be notified on the competition post or via DMs and asked to contact the Promoter to claim their prize. The winner will have 48 hours from notification to contact the Promoter to claim their prize. If the winners do not contact the Promoter within the timeframe, such winner(s) will be deemed to forfeit the prize and another winner will be randomly selected. 

     

    9. Entries: no responsibility can be accepted for entries incompletely or incorrectly completed or not received for whatever reason. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for any technical or other error that might arise whilst submitting any entry. 

     

    10. Accuracy: by entering the competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current, and complete. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations and will not be disclosed to a third party other than for administration of this competition and as to fulfil the prize offered under this competition or as required by applicable law. All entrants acknowledge that their personal data will be used by the Promotor as data controller as per applicable data protection laws, for the purposes of the administration of this competition only, including contacting winning entrants.     11. Responsible entries: Entrants must not post any material that is inappropriate, offensive, indecent, obscene, hateful, defamatory, derogatory or anything similar; promotes irresponsible or excessive drinking; or may promote bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or that may promote discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age. 

     

    12. Publicity: winners may be required to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition. By entering this competition, all entrants hereby assign to the Promoter all the rights including the copyright and all other intellectual property rights whatsoever, in any picture and/or video as posted by the entrants via their post and to use such rights in any promotional and advertising material and similar which arises out of or is in connection with this competition.

     

    13. Promoter’s decision is final: in the event of any dispute regarding the competition, the decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

     

    14. Liability: Entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, direct, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Promoter or its associated companies including anyone professionally associated with this competition, will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, costs etc. including injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, from any entrant’s participation in the competition or from any prize. 

     

    15. Promoter: All communications regarding this competition should be forwarded in writing to schwartz.enquiries@mccormick.co.uk at schwartz.co.uk.

     

    16. The Promoter’s failure to enforce any of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and shall be governed by the courts of that jurisdiction accordingly.

     

    17. Any social media platform on which this competition promotion is promoted, does not endorse, sponsor, administer or otherwise have any involvement in this competition.
