A quick and easy pasta sauce made with fresh tomatoes, red onion, olive oil and a spicy Italian-style blend, great for serving with cooked spaghetti for all the family to dig into.
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 red onion, finely chopped

  • 675 gram (1 1/2 pounds) fresh tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 tablespoons tomato purée

  • 3 tablespoons Spicy Italian Seasoning

  • 325 gram (11 ounce) spaghetti

Instructions

  • 1 Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the onion and gently fry for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • 2 Add the remaining ingredients (except the spaghetti), stir through and allow to cook for 10 minutes.
  • 3 Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling water according to the pack directions.
  • 4 Drain the spaghetti and stir into the sauce. Delicious served with buttery garlic bread and a fresh green salad.
