Makrut Lime Leaves are harvested from an evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia, they are also known as makrut lime. Not to be confused with the common fruit producing varieties, the Makrut Lime tree has unusual double leaves, joined head to tail.

Dried Makrut Lime Leaves should have a deep green colour and subtle citrus aroma with a flavour somewhere in between lemon and lime.
