Classic BBQ Molten Cheese Burgers

100 grams (4 ounces) mature Cheddar cheese, cut into four chunks

450 grams (1 pound) beef mince

4 teaspoons BBQ Seasoning

4 sesame seed buns, split in half

4 lettuce leaves

1 large tomato, thinly sliced

4 rounds thinly sliced onion

8 gherkin slices

4 tablespoons American mustard

4 tablespoons ketchup

For a loaded cheeseburger add bacon, avocado and mayo.
Instructions
- 1 1. Pre-heat the barbecue.
- 2 2. Cut the cheese into four 2.5cm squares, about 1cm thick. Divide the beef mince into 4 portions. Roll each portion into a ball and press a piece of cheese in the centre of the ball. Pinch the beef mince to enclose the cheese and shape the balls into a 2.5 cm thick patty. Season the burgers all over with Classic BBQ Seasoning.
- 3 3. Grill the burgers for 6-8 minutes per side or until meat is cooked through and no longer pink. Meanwhile, grill the buns for 1-1½ minutes or until lightly toasted.
- 4 4. Assemble the burgers in buns with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mustard and ketchup.
