Salmon Paté flavoured with Garlic Pepper is the perfect starter for that special Valentine treat.
  • 200 gram (7 ounce) smoked salmon

  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Pepper

  • 125 gram (5 ounce) creme fraiche

  • To serve:

  • Melba toast and salad to garnish

  • 1 Use enough salmon to line 2 greased ramekin dishes (or small dessert bowls), with a little over lap.
  • 2 Place remaining salmon in a food processor with the Garlic Pepper and crème fraîche and blend to a smooth consistency. Spoon into the prepared ramekins and fold over the excess salmon. Allow to chill before serving. Turn out onto 2 plates and sprinkle a little Garlic Pepper over the top.
  • 3 Serve with melba toast and salad garnish. Use heart shaped moulds and serve to your Valentine as a starter.
