For OUR RECIPE you will need ...
1 sachet Schwartz Tuna Napolitana Recipe Mix
450ml (¾ pint) sem-skimmed milk
3 tbs tomato purée
25g (1oz) butter
185g tin tuna, drained and flaked
275g (10oz) pasta, cooked and drained
1. Mix sachet contents with milk in a saucepan.
2. Add tomato purée and butter and bring to the boil, stirring.
3. Stir tuna into sauce and heat through. Add pasta and mix thoroughly before serving.
4. Serve with a tomato and red onion salad.
Hints & Tips ...
Try adding sweetcorn or freshly chopped tomatoes with the tuna or replacing the tuna with cooked, diced chicken or cooked prawns. Try topping with grated Cheddar cheese and grilling until golden.
Microwave directions for 800W: Mix sachet contents with milk in a microwaveable dish. Add tomato pureé and butter. Cook, uncovered, on full power for 7 minutes or until boiling, stirring occasionally. Stir tuna into sauce and cook uncovered, on full power for 30 seconds. Add pasta and mix thoroughly.
