Quick Tuna Pasta

175 gram (6 ounce) pasta shapes

15 gram (1/2 ounce) butter

15 gram (1/2 ounce) plain flour

300 millilitre (1/2 pint) semi-skimmed milk

4 tablespoons Garlic Italian Seasoning

1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
-
2 teaspoon wholegrain mustard

100 gram (4 ounce) frozen mixed vegetables, defrosted

200 gram (7 ounce) tin tuna in brine, drained

Salt and pepper
-
50 gram (2 ounce) low fat Cheddar cheese, grated

Instructions
- 1 Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water until tender. Drain.
- 2 Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually blend in the milk. Bring to the boil, stirring until thickened. Stir in the Garlic Italian Seasoning, Nutmeg, mustard, vegetables and tuna. Season. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- 3 Stir in the cooked pasta, heat through and transfer to a heatproof serving dish. Top with cheese and place under a pre-heated grill until golden.
