COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Pre-heat the oven to 230°C, 450°F, Gas Mark 8.
  • 2 Place the flour in a large mixing bowl. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Grate the cheese and stir it into the flour with the Cayenne Pepper and Onion Salt. Add the milk and mix it into the flour mixture to form a soft dough. Roll out the pastry to a round about 25.5cm (10’’) in diameter and place it on a greased baking sheet. Alternatively, divide the dough in half and make two smaller pizzas instead of one large one.
  • 3 Choose any combination of vegetables from those suggested. Chop or slice them and fry in a little fat until they are soft. Stir in tomatoes or the purée. Arrange the vegetable mixture on top of the dough base. Sprinkle a selection of Herbs and Seasonings on top. Finish with tuna, meat or cheese as desired.
  • 4 Bake the pizza in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Garnish them with tomatoes anchovies or olives. These pizzas are not suitable for freezing.
