Classic Chilli con Carne
450 g (1 lb) minced beef
1 onion, chopped
2 tsp Chilli Cooking Paste
400 g (14 oz) tin chopped tomatoes
425 g (15 oz) tin kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 tbs tomato purée
1 beef stock cube
150 mililitre (1/4 pint) water
Fry the onion, beef and Chillies in a large saucepan until browned.
Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to the boil, stirring. Simmer gently for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
