A delicious one-pot dish with chicken pieces, carrots and mushrooms cooked in a rich and tasty gravy. Great served with mashed potatoes.
  • 4 chicken portions, skinned

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 50 gram (2 ounce) mushrooms, sliced

  • 225 gram (8 ounce) carrots, thinly sliced

  • 1 sachet Chicken Casserole Mix

  • 1 tablespoons Flat Leaf Parsley

  • Schwartz Black Pepper to season

  • 1 Place the chicken, onion, mushrooms and carrots in a large saucepan. Make up the casserole mix with 300ml (½ pint) water and pour over the chicken.
  • 2 Bring to the boil, add the Parsley, cover the pan with a tight fitting lid and simmer for 1 hour 30 mins. Season with Black Pepper and serve with mashed potatoes.
