Succulent cod fillets simmered in a delicious creamy sauce flavoured with aromatic Parsley and Chives, and topped with mashed potato before grilling for a quick and easy fish pie.
Ingredients
  • 1 sachet Parsley & Chive Sauce

  • 450 millilitre (¾ pint) milk

  • 350 gram (12 ounce) cod fillets (smoked or unsmoked)

  • 25 gram (1 ounce) butter

  • 100 gram (4 ounce) cooked prawns

  • 125 gram (5 ounce) frozen peas

  • 450 gram (1 pound) mashed potato

Instructions

  • 1 Mix the Schwartz Parsley & Chive Sauce Mix with the milk in a large saucepan. Add the cod fillets and bring to the boil, stirring, for 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Add the butter, prawns and peas and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 2 Transfer to a heatproof dish and top with the mashed potato. Place under a pre-heated grill until golden.
