Steamed Scallops with Ginger & Spring Onion

Tender scallops flavoured with an oriental marinade and gently steamed with a sprinkling of Chinese 5 Spice.

  • To make the marinade combine the wine, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar in a bowl and mix well.

  • Place the scallops in a steamer. Top each scallop with a teaspoon of the marinade, a small amount of ginger and spring onion and a pinch of Perfect Shake Chinese 5 Spice Herb & Spice Blend.

  • Place the steamer over a pan of boiling water, cover and steam for 3-4 minutes.

  • To serve, pour a further tablespoon of the marinade over each scallop and garnish each with a coriander leaf.
