Turkey Escalopes
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour

  • 4 tablespoons Garlic Italian Seasoning

  • 4 boneless, skinless turkey breasts

  • 50 gram (2 ounce) butter

  • 1 tablespoons oil

  • 4 slices ham

  • 50 gram (2 ounce) button mushrooms, sliced

  • 50 gram (2 ounce) Cheddar cheese, grated


  • 1 Place the flour and 1 tbs Garlic Italian Seasoning in a polythene bag and shake until well mixed. Toss the turkey in the flour mixture until completely coated.
  • 2 Heat the butter and oil together in a large frying pan, add the turkey and gently fry for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is tender and golden.
  • 3 Cut the slices of ham in half and place on top of the turkey. Cover with the mushrooms. Mix together the cheese and remaining 3 tbs Garlic Italian Seasoning, sprinkle over the turkey and baste with surrounding butter. Cover and cook for a further 5-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
