A classic Italian-style lasagne of layered pasta and a rich tomato and meat sauce topped with a cheese sauce. A great family favourite, delicious served with garlic bread and salad.
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 4.
Brown mince for 4-5. Drain excess liquid. Mix sachet contents with water and add to the pan with tomatoes and purée. Bring to the boil, stirring and simmer for 5 minutes.
Place alternate layers of the beef mixture and pasta into an ovenproof dish, topping with a layer of white sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Serve with tomato salad and garlic bread.
