Hanovarian Bacon Hotpot

A delicious Hanovarian Bacon Hotpot flavoured with Bouquet Garni and a hint of Black Pepper.

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the bacon, potatoes and carrots until just beginning to colour.

  • Stir in the stock, Bouquet Garni, Dill and Pepper. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

  • Stir in the beans, cooking apple and cornflour paste. Cover and cook for a further 15 minutes.

  • Remove Bouquet Garni. Serve with crusty bread and extra vegetables.
