For our recipe you will need...
250g (9oz) macaroni pasta
400ml (13fl oz) semiskimmed milk 100g (4oz) Cheddar cheese
1. Preheat oven to 200°C, 400°F, Gas Mark 6.
2. Cook the macaroni pasta in boiling water for 2 minutes less than stated on packaging, then drain. Combine the sachet contents with the milk and half of the cheese. Bring to the boil gently, stirring continuously. Simmer for 12 minutes, until sauce has thickened, then add the pasta to the sauce.
3. Transfer to an ovenproof dish and top with the remaining cheese. Cook in the oven for 15 minutes, or until golden.
For a little inspiration...
Try adding diced crispy bacon to the sauce and topping with crumbled snack crackers or breadcrumbs as well as the cheese before baking. Serve with a crunchy green side salad.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
