- 250g macaroni pasta
- 400ml semiskimmed milk
- 100g cheddar cheese
3 Easy Steps...
1 Preheat oven to 200oC, 400oF, gas mark 6. Cook the macaroni in boiling water for 2 mins less than stated on packaging. 2 Then drain. Mix seasoning with milk and half of the cheese. Bring to the boil gently, stirring continuously. Simmer for a couple of mins, until sauce has thickened, then add pasta.
3 Transfer to an ovenproof dish and top with the remaining cheese. Cook in oven for 15 mins, or until golden.
Try Something Different: Try adding diced crispy bacon to the sauce and topping with crumbled snack crackers or breadcrumbs as well as the cheese before baking. Serve with a crunchy side salad.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
