Usage Tips
For OUR RECIPE you will need …
1 sachet Schwartz Chicken Fajitas Recipe Mix
1 tbs oil
450g (1lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 packet flour tortillas
Directions …
1. Heat oil and fry chicken and onion, over a high heat, for 6-7 minutes, or until chicken is browned.
2. Stir in peppers and sachet contents and fry for a further 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Wrap in flour tortillas. Serve with soured cream, salsa, guacamole and grated cheese.
Try Something Different: For a meat free alternative, fry onion for a couple of mins and add a drained tin of black beans with the peppers.
Hints & Tips …
Also delicious with pork, steak or prawns. Delicious served on a bed of tortilla chips, topped with grated cheese and grilled.
Freezing Guidelines
This finished recipe is suitable for freezing. Transfer the cooked recipe to an airtight container, leave to cool prior to sealing. For best results use within 1 month of freezing.
Re-heating Guidelines
Defrost thoroughly overnight in a refrigerator. Transfer to a microwaveable bowl, cover loosely with cling film and re-heat in the microwave (800W) on full power for 7½ minutes, stirring half-way through, or until piping hot throughout.
