Cinnamon Shortbread

No cosy cuppa in front of the fire would be complete without a delicious biscuit for dunking. Our shortbread recipe is easy to make and provides a hint of cinnamon to ensure even the coldest of winter nights are filled with warmth.

  • Pre-heat oven to 150°C, 300°F, Gas Mark 2.

  • In a bowl cream together the butter and sugar. Gradually mix in the flour, semolina and Cinnamon. Using your hands knead the mixture together to form a dough.

  • Line a baking tray with grease proof paper, place your dough into the baking tray and distribute evenly, press into the corners. Prick the dough all-over with a fork.

  • Bake in the middle of the oven for 50-55 minutes.
