Pancake Recipe with Orange and Chocolate Sauces

Make this basic pancake recipe and serve with our delicious Orange Sauce and Chocolate Sauce drizzled over. They go really well together.

  • Heat all the ingedients in a small saucepan, bring to the boil, stirring continuously until thickened. Delicious served with pancakes and crème fraîche.

  • Heat all the ingredients in a small saucepan, stirring continuously until warm and thickened. Delicious served with pancakes and sliced banana.

  • In a large bowl mix together the flour, egg and milk and beat well until smooth.

  • Heat a little oil in a frying pan and pour about 2-3 tablespoons of the mixture into the pan. Tilt and move the pan until the mixture covers the base evenly. Cook on a medium heat for 30-60 seconds until golden. Flip the pancake and cook on the other side.

  • Keep the pancake warm and repeat with the remainder of the batter. Serve the pancakes with the sauces below.

    This sounds great! However, Schwartz need to rewrite the cooking instructions as people with no experience will end in a mess! Do not add all the ingredients, make the orange sauce first, then the chocolate sauce, and then the pancakes!
