2 litres (34 fluid ounce) good-quality traditional cider

2 sachets Mulled Wine Spices

1 orange, juice of

25 grams (1 ounce) caster sugar

Instructions
- 1 Pour a small glass of the cider into a small pan on a low heat and let it warm through for a few minutes. Add the sachets of Mulled Wine Spice, the Cinnamon Stick and the orange juice and turn the heat up. Once boiling, turn down to a simmer and leave for 5–8 minutes.
- 2 Remove sachets.
- 3 Pour into a larger pan and add the rest of cider.
- 4 Warm the liquid on a low heat. Add sugar to taste, and dissolve.
- 5 Pour into glasses or mugs and serve warm.
