Like a liquid apple pie, this punch has a wonderful scent that will waft through your home as it mulls. And with the expertly blended Schwartz Mulled Wine spice, we promise it will taste every bit as delicious!

  • 2 litres (34 fluid ounce) good-quality traditional cider

  • 2 sachets Mulled Wine Spices

  • 1 orange, juice of

  • 25 grams (1 ounce) caster sugar


  • 1 Pour a small glass of the cider into a small pan on a low heat and let it warm through for a few minutes. Add the sachets of Mulled Wine Spice, the Cinnamon Stick and the orange juice and turn the heat up. Once boiling, turn down to a simmer and leave for 5–8 minutes.
  • 2 Remove sachets.
  • 3 Pour into a larger pan and add the rest of cider.
  • 4 Warm the liquid on a low heat. Add sugar to taste, and dissolve.
