Spiced Baked Bananas
Ingredients
4 large bananas
1 tablespoons soft light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon Ground Coriander
Juice of 1/2 lemon
A few drops of orange liqueur (optional)
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Pre-heat the oven to 200°C, 400°F, Gas Mark 6.
- 2 Peel the bananas and cut in half lengthways. Place in a shallow ovenproof dish. Sprinkle over the sugar, Coriander, lemon juice and orange liqueur if using.
- 3 Break the Cinnamon Sticks in half and place on top of the bananas. Cover and place in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the bananas are just beginning to soften.
- 4 Serve hot with fresh cream or natural yoghurt as a dessert to any Indian meal.
