Herby Chestnut Stuffing
Ingredients
1 turkey liver, chopped
25 gram (1 ounce) butter, melted
50 gram (2 ounce) mushrooms, chopped
425 gram (15 ounce) tin chestnut purée
100 gram (4 ounce) fresh breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Mixed Herbs
1 medium egg, beaten
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Fry the liver gently in the butter until it turns brown. Place it in a large bowl with the rest of the ingredients and combine thoroughly.
- 2 Use the stuffing to stuff a turkey or chicken before roasting. It is not suitable for cooking separately, nor for freezing.
