Classic Barbecue Meatballs
Ingredients
For the Potato Wedges:
675 gram (1 1/2 pounds) potatoes, cut into wedges
1 tablespoons oil
2 teaspoon BBQ Seasoning
1 packet Garlic & Herb Wedges
For the Meatballs:
350 gram (12 ounce) minced pork
4 teaspoon BBQ Seasoning
1 tablespoons oil
1 onion, chopped
450 millilitre (3/4 pint) passata or puréed tinned tomatoes
1 teaspoon Mixed Herbs
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Pre-heat the oven to 200°C, 400°F, Gas Mark 6.
- 2 Mix the potato wedges with the oil and sprinkle over the Classic BBQ Seasoning. Place on a pre-heated baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes turning once during cooking.
- 3 Meanwhile, mix the pork and 2 tsp Classic BBQ Seasoning together and form 8 balls. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and meatballs for 4-5 minutes until browned.
- 4 Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to the boil, transfer to an ovenproof dish and bake for 30 minutes.
- 5 Serve with the potato wedges.
