Spaghetti Carbonara
Ingredients
225 gram (8 ounce) spaghetti
3 tablespoons olive oil
225 gram (8 ounce) back bacon, chopped
175 gram (6 ounce) mushrooms, sliced
2 teaspoon Oregano
100 gram (4 ounce) peas, defrosted if frozen
1 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon English mustard
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
3 tablespoons double cream
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Cook the spaghetti in boiling, salted water until tender. Drain.
- 2 Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry bacon until crispy. Add mushrooms and Oregano and fry for 1-2 minutes.
- 3 Add the remaining ingredients, stir into the spaghetti and heat through. Season to taste.
