  • 175 grams (6 ounces) streaky bacon, chopped

  • 450 grams (1 bag) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 50 millilitres (2 fluid ounce) water

  • 1 sachet Sauteed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Cooking tip
  1. Delicious with roast turkey and all the trimmings. Try adding chestnuts and double cream towards the end of cooking for a richer sauce.

Instructions

  • 1 Fry the bacon in a large pan for 4­5 minutes, until golden and crispy. Drain the excess oil.
  • 2 Stir the sprouts into the pan. Cover, reduce the heat and cook for 8­10 minutes, until softened. 3. Stir in the sachet contents and water, cook for a further minute, until sprouts are tender.
